How It Works
A professional upholsterer carefully removes the existing seat trim and installs heating elements beneath the upholstery in both the seat base and backrest. Afterwards, they reinstall the original trim to preserve the factory appearance of the seats.
Once complete, the heated seats operate through the genuine Audi climate control unit. The driver and front passenger can then independently select low, medium or high heat.
LEDs within the climate control unit clearly show the selected setting. Therefore, each occupant can confirm and adjust their preferred heat level at a glance.
When you select the high setting, the system warms the seat quickly. Then, after the seat reaches its peak temperature, the system automatically reduces the setting to medium to maintain comfortable warmth.
Because the retrofit integrates with the factory climate controls, it does not require separate aftermarket switches on the dashboard, centre console or seat trim. Consequently, the completed installation retains a clean and original appearance.
