Hi, my name’s Jarrod Shelley from autofidelity and today we are going to be having a look at Integrated Carplay.
In today’s video we’ve fitted it to a Mercedes-Benz 204, the same system is compatible with most Audis, Mercedes, Volkswagens, and all the Euro cars. Let’s take a look how it works!
So once we’ve got the CarPlay activated on the screen, we then use touchscreen to change our radio stations in iHeartRadio, go to maps, read our text messages which siri will actually dictate to us and allow us to dictate a reply back, and obviously go into our phonebook for all of our phone calls. Nice, neat looking solution to get the modern day features in those older cars.
