Description
The Sound Booster simulates a large volume engine (V6 / V8) or develops its own sound characteristics – thus the Active Sound system offers the perfect solution for a powerful exhaust sound at the push of a button.
The prerequisite is a motor CAN bus system. This Active Sound kit for the Audi A4 8K, A5 8T, Q5 8R contains only the modules and the cable set.
Product Overview:
- Sound Booster Pro upgrades the current sound of the exhaust and gives you up to 6* new sounds to drive with
- System uses a sound generator in the vehicles exhaust and controls the sound electronically from inside the vehicle
The Sound Booster Pro is suitable for the following vehicles:
- Audi A4 8K

- Audi Q5 8R

Features:
- Original Audi control panel for outside sound generator and KUFATEC Sound Booster module
- The KUFATEC Sound Booster Pro gives the entire system an unique sound
- A powerful V6 / V8 sound (depending on the configuration)
- LED status signaling for easy installation
- You can choose between 6 sound profiles
- Profile 1 offers a very discreet sound for noise sensitive areas
- Adaptation of the profiles and characteristic fields via free software
- Sound profile selection with either button, radio remote control or via the cruise control
- For the push-button, we recommend the installation in the front area (eg in the driver’s footwell)
- You can control whether the module is to act actively or passively via the Drive Select menu
- “Power-Start” – when starting the engine the exhaust system will briefly roar (this function can be switched on or off via the Drive Select in the MMI)
Notes:
- For vehicles without DriveSelect (PR-No.: 2H0) item number 39301 is additionally required
- Setting engine sound in the menu for Drive Select currently only available for facelift vehicles (A5 from Mj 2012, A4 and Q5 from Mj 2013)
- The noise generators for the exhaust system are additionally required and not part of the delivery

If you’re not having an installation, we offer this service for a flat fee of $165.
