Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you probably heard that European cars are a hot target for thieves. Break in to your house and steal the key to then allow them to steal the car, or use hi-tech equipment to mirror the key and drive off even without breaking into the house.
Don’t worry we’ve got a solution to both of these problems. Let’s take a look how it works.
The system allows us to start the vehicle, get the car idling but it will not allow us to engage drive or reverse. No matter how many times we try, we simply cannot put the car into gear. That’s all well and good but there’s no point having a car if you can’t drive it. Well, you are correct that’s why you get your own user defined password which in this instance we’ve setup as 4 presses of the back arrow. We see here that after we’ve done that the indicators flash in the dashboard telling us the car is now de-immobilised. Which allows us to put the vehicle into gear and drive off as normal.
