Today we’re going to have a look at our retrofit of the 2016 Discovery Media Unit in this 2014 Amarok.
So there we see the original unit followed by the new and upgraded CarPlay and Android Auto compatible
Discovery Media Unit.
In this vehicle we’ve also retrofitted a rear view camera which is activated by putting the vehicle into reverse.
Part of this installation is retrofitting the OEM USB and 3.5mm auxiliary jack. As we see down in front of the gear
stick just like in the 2017 Amarok.
