Hey! I’m Jarrod Shelley from Autofidelity.
And today we will be fitting a factory rear view camera into this Audi TT.
The back of the TT looks like this with the factory camera fitted. As you can see we have replaced the boot handle underneath the rear lid with one that has the camera integrated into it.
We’ve left the cover panel of the back here just to give you a little sneak peek at the way we do things – so, that’s our wiring running with the factory wiring, down through the factory grommets into the car to run with the factory wiring all the way up to the front and then integrated into the front screen.
We’ve finished the installation of the factory camera into this TT. Soon as we go into reverse, it brings up that factory image on the original instrument cluster. As you turn the steering wheel the guidelines move to show you where you’re heading.
