How It Works

The system uses multiple ultrasonic sensors integrated into the rear bumper. While you reverse, these sensors continuously measure the distance to obstacles behind your TT and send the data to the dedicated control unit.

As the car moves closer:

At greater distances, you hear intermittent beeps to indicate an object is present.
As the distance decreases, the beeps become more frequent.
When you are very close (around 30 cm), the sound changes to a continuous tone, signalling you should stop.

As an added bonus if there any existing faults in the vehicle we can identify and advise where it is. Having your vehicle properly diagnosed is a vital step when fixing faults to help reduce the chances of big unnecessary repair bills.
