Electronic folding mirrors might seem like a luxury item, but this feature can save time and money, giving you the flexibility to retract the mirrors whenever you’re in a tight situation, and extend them again for normal driving.

This particular retrofit includes only genuine parts, and we wouldn’t really recommend an aftermarket approach to this integrated solution.
In this Audi Q5 (8R), the mirrors can be folded in and out by using the switch on the drivers door, and can also fold in when the car is locked with the remote control. In this case, the mirrors will fold out again when the car is started.

This feature is handy for situations such as driving into a tight garage or parking spot, or just avoiding damage to your mirrors by folding them in when the car is parked on the side of the road.

We are currently working on solutions for other vehicles in the Audi range, such as A4 (B8/8K), A5 (8T), A6 and A7 (4G). If you are interested in having folding mirrors fitted to your vehicle, contact us and if we don’t have a solution, we might be able to put one together for you.

When dealing with automotive electronics products, it is important to maintain the original characteristics and functionality of each vehicle, and that safety and aesthetic aspects are not compromised in any way.
